This week saw the launch of Chess Club! Over the next few weeks, they are going to be learning notation to write down moves and record the progress of a game, as well as exploring different openings and strategies to win. This week, they looked at how to set up a game, the moves that different pieces make and how to put a king in check and checkmate. Here are a few photo's of the event, as they improve they will provide better competition for each other.
