Residential update - En route home 17th June 2026 - 3pm
Staff and pupils are safely packed onto the coach and are making their way back to school. Our current ETA is 3.35pm
Residential update 17th June 2026
Today pupils started the day with a sausage and egg muffin and plenty of toast before partaking in a team challenge activity. Completing tasks to earn points the children could then buy items to build a protective parachute for their egg. After a filling lunch of wraps and salad they have enjoyed a cooling ice lolly as they played their final games before getting ready to head home.
Residential update 16th June 2026
Year 6 have enjoyed a fantastic second day on their residential!
The children embraced the outdoor adventure with some backwoods cooking, making their own delicious pizzas and chocolate-filled bananas. They also worked together to build coracles and test them out on the lake, showing great teamwork!
After a busy afternoon, everyone enjoyed a tasty roast chicken dinner, with dessert of chocolate cake which was very well received!
For evening activities, the children gathered around the campfire for songs, before ending the day with a disco that kept everyone dancing.
The children are now tucked up in bed and looking forward to their final day of activities tomorrow.
Residential update 15th June 2026
Year 6 arrived safely at Gilwell Park after a rain filled morning loading the coach. On day one, groups enjoyed the climbing wall, ladder, coracle and team building activities before tucking into a well earned dinner.
In the evening pupils participated in 'Wide Games' which involved races, over under and tug of war, before they settled down for their cinema evening in the lodge. With bellies full of hot chocolate and pop corn children were excited to have the first sleep over.
