HES Catering Services are the caterer of choice for schools within the London Borough of Havering. They have taken the necessary steps to ensure they are compliant. One of the requirements of the Law is to ensure the relevant information (allergen and ingredients data) is accessible and available at the point of pre-ordering to ensure an informed choice.

Our 'nut-free policy' means that the following items shou
ld not be brought into school:
- Packs of nuts
- Peanut butter or nutella sandwiches
- Fruit and cereal bars that contain nuts
- Chocolate bars and sweets that contain nuts
Parents can book their child's lunch for up to a month in advance using the school gateway app and selecting the 'Lunch Money' option and then by choosing 'Make or View a Meal Booking'. Here you will see all allergies allocated to the components of your meal selection as per Natasha's Law which came into effect on 1st October 2021.
School meals are currently free for all primary school children.

Parents will be asked to provide details of their child's food allergens and intolerances on the admissions form together with dietary lifestyle choices. This information is inputted into the dinner system provided by HES and will prevent children from ordering foods that could be harmful to them.

The law of the Church requires Catholics to abstain from meat on Fridays. Those who cannot or choose not to eat meat as part of their normal diet should abstain from some other food of which they regularly partake.
