The national curriculum is set by the UK Governent and specifies what children learn at school.
Our Curriculum Principles
St Ursula's curriculum incorporates carefully selected knowledge and skills which is brought to life in a way that is meaningful and exciting for pupils; promoting a life-long love of learning.
Our curriculum is rooted in Catholic values which promote spiritual and moral development. We provide a high level of pastoral care and curriculum enrichment, through music, art, visits and trips as well as extra-curricular provision which is available to all.
We continue a high focus on sport and activity promoting lifelong good habits for both physical health and mental well-being.
Our main priority is for children to feel safe and secure in school and to feel they belong. We are an inclusive school where everyone is valued as part of our St Ursula's family.
Please use our subject pages to find out more about our visions, subject action plans and policies.
