Welcome to St Ursula's Nursery
St Ursula's offers a quality school-based nursery offering places for children from 3 years old and promises continuity of care from the beginning of a child's education.
All 3 and 4 year old's are eligible for 15 hours of early education and childcare. Working parents may also be eligible for an extended 15 hours of childcare called 30 Hours Childcare, offering 30 hours a week during term time or around 22 hours a week over a full year.

How to apply for a Nursery place:
To apply for a Nursery place at St Ursula's you need to apply directly by calling the school office 01705 345200 for an application form (SIF) or by downloading and printing it here.
Closing date for Nursery places is 6th February 2026 (or the working day before if the 6th falls on a weekend).
St Ursula's will accept applications for Nursery throughout the academic year providing there are spaces. Please contact the school in the first instance.
After completing the application form:
Once the form has been completed it must be submitted to the school office in person together with the following documents as detailed on the form:
- CHILD'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE
- PROOF OF ADDRESS: (A utility bill dated within the last 3 months or council tax statement dated in the current year)
Preference will be given to baptised practising Catholic children whose application is accompanied by a Baptismal certificate or reception into Church and proof of date of birth and paperwork showing verification of address.
